What Is Powerline Ethernet Internet Connection?

About Powerline LAN Connection!
You don't need WiFi anymore, and no need for rewiring your house with Ethernet Wires to network computers and share internet connection. All you need is your current electrical wires in your house and a few wall outlets. Of course you will need at least two powerline adapters. These adapters can cost up to $100 for two depending on the make and model of them. We are testing the TP-Link TL-PA8010P Kit of two. It is the starter kit witch will come with two adapters. One adapter connects to the wall outlet next to your router, and you plug in the Ethernet Wire in one of the free LAN Ports on our router to the wall adapter. Then you place the wall adapter to where your other computer is in another room. Then you press the pair button on the first adapter that connects to your router, and then you do the same on the adapter that connects to your computer. This allows you to share your internet and network your computers without having wireless interference. This is a good idea for older homes, and if you don't want to rewire your house for wired internet. This can be more expensive than using a home rewiring for adding Ethernet Cat 5E or Cat 6 wiring. If you want to do more than I would say 3 rooms of internet, I would recommend doing a project of rewiring your house with Ethernet connections. I will give you resources why, I suggest this and it isn't that expensive to wire your entire house with wired Cat 5E Ethernet Wiring. This topic will be for a later article.
Performance!
The box states the TP-Link TL-PA8010P Kit has speeds up to 1200 MBPs Connection or 1.2 MBPs. We are still in preliminary testing, but right away we noticed a slight lag in performance. We have a 62 MBPs Download and 6 MBPs Cabled Internet Connection and with the powerline internet we get about 59MBPs Down and 6 MBPs Up. Although the speeds are not that bad, and it isn't that noticeable while gaming on games such as league of legends or similar intense internet games. We did have an ever so slight higher ping but that could be our ISP as we did have an internet outage that day. I will post an update on our Pod Cast on November 2, 2015. This Pod Cast may not be up loaded until November 3, 2015.
The Wrap Up!
In all it was very easy to unbox and hook up the TP-Link TL-PA8010P Kit. Just follow the directions in the Quick Set Up Guide.
